my lap top mouse has frozen i can't click on anything please help?

my laptop screen is also flashing

So push down the power button and hold it down till the power goes off. Turn the power back on and see if it is working. If not, plug in a separate mouse till you get your laptop fixed.

I had the same problem ,turns out it was not the computer but the mouse,I changed the mouse and everything worked,I also tried the same mouse on another computer and it reacted the same way
