I have a Pentium r MMX win 98 originally was win 95 I have serched the internet and it says anything from 166 to 233 but would like to know for sure thanks for the help

Hit the Windows and Pause keys toghether. It will show you a window with the general information about your computer (including the processor you have). If that isn't enough, in that same window, go to the hardware tab and the the device manager, expand the entry marked for processors and right click on the procesor and select properties.

Wow....that thing should be behind class in a museum. Well you can look by right clicking on my computer and going to properties under the General tab. You can also hit f1 or f2 while systems is starting up. By the way...I think its time to upgrade.

Click Start then click system and then the readout should show in the dialog box that presents itself.......have a great day
