If he cheated once, he will again. Don't cheat back to get even, you will be the one who feels worse for it, not him. I personally, would get out of the relationship, take my time to heal and move on. You don't need someone like that.

Don't you have any self-respect at all? What good will it do to lower yourself to the level of the slimesucker who skrewed around on you? Get even with him? I think its better to just get out of the relationship. I just left a marriage where all we did is cheat on each other. it was awful. I wish i woulda left sooner and found a normal relationship

fair, sure, worth it, no. if you turn the tables, you'll both end up taking turns trying to hurt each other. if you're going to stay with him you have to be able to trust he wont go there again, otherwise it's not worth even sticking around.
