Wet/Dry Vacuum Followed By Dehumidifier - Better check the entrance source of the rain though & get that taken care of soon as small leaks will only get larger . After about 3 days of running the dehumidifier , purchase a container of " Carpet Fresh " or spread some baking soda all over the carpet , let sit for 6+ hours minimum & vacuum .
