I bought this really special lampshade, moulded silk, handmade the real biz, and i like being a bit unique but as soon as my mates clapped eyes on it they all wanted one. And as soon as I said that I'd read that it was coming out in Living Etc, that cool magazine then that was ....just about the worst thing to say. So now I'm getting pure3design.biz to make me one that will be just unique to me. Cool or what?

My Daughter has a friend like that no matter what Joanne bought Becky would buy the exact same.
In the end Joanne would just lie and tell her she got it in different shop so when Becky went to buy one of course there would be none there and Joanne would then say oh they must have sold out never mind.

Yes its cool that you will have your own unique design, sometimes people just copy you, so you like them and to show they like you and respect your opinion because by buying the same thing shows you have the same taste. Next time while you show off your new thing show them something else that is good but not what you are actually going to buy and then everybody is happy. Enjoy your new lampshade.

You should always lie in situations like that and say that someone bought it for you abroad and you don't know the name of the shop!
