i own a repair shop, and i been using Bosch platinum plugs in everything for a while now,and i like those really well they fire good under pressure and hold up really well, and have improved my mileage on my personal vehicles a lot,and a lot of my customers ask for them anyway so i just use those most of the time, they last a good 50-60 thousand miles ,real easy ,but that would be what i would recommend, good luck,i hope this help,s.,,PS ,if you blew an engine up,it wasn't because of a spark plug,it might have been over revving or something, but a plug wont blow it up,good luck.

I like to run either the bosh platinum 4s or autolite platinum I own Isuzus and they are picky about the plugs that will work in them. For some reason you put a regular bosh platinum plug in one of the trucks and you get a misfire in a day put the better ones in they dont misfire at all and they've been going strong for a year that way.

I don't understand how Bosch, or any brand, sparkplug could cause your engine to blow. There is little difference in quality between ordinary name brand plugs. You can try higher performance plugs like Splitfire, or any of the platinmum tipped ones if you're not happy with ordinary plugs. But, there's gotta be more to your engine blowing than plug problems.

Copper plugs conduct better than platinum ones, but platinum lasts a lot longer. The plugs with more than one post dont really do anything, the spark still only goes to one of the posts, not all 4.

plugs don't blow up engines, timing or lack of oil. the best plug is the one recommended by the manufacturer.
