thank you ladies just so you all know i have checked with my doctor and he said it is fine and very very normal i have no pain tolerance what so ever i am a big baby so the pain is good for me to get use but i assure u i have never felt anything so painful and quick in my life but the doctor said basically the same as you all have grin and bare it Tylenol will help a little but mostly it is going to get worse as the baby gets bigger im just not use to this yet it is all very new for me and im amazed at how sensitive i am. what are round tendons?

Everyones pain tolerance is different. Technically you shouldnt be doubling over, although I did with my round tendons.

Stretching lightly, drinking A LOT of water, and just staying active, will help sooo much. It takes a few days, but it will get better. And then the next batch kicks in.

Pregnancy is painful. I would take a tylenol when it was just more than I could deal with. But honestly, just staying active helped the most. Walking was enough for me.

If you cant function and are in sooo much pain, i would call your OB to make sure all is well. Have the baby's heart rate checked and your cervix monitored.

I feel your pain! Did you happen to do anything that you would consider 'normal' yesterday, but was a bit strenuous, like house cleaning? When I was 6 mo. preg. with my first we had friends coming over, so I did some additional cleaning. No big deal, or so I thought! I was like you for the next day or two. I was scheduled to see my doc on the second day, so I took Tylenol and waited it out. And he told me, "Well, you know you can't do everything you did before you were pregnant". WHAT? All this time all I heard was if you did it before you were preggo, you could do it while you were preggo. In reality, depending on the person, during the 5th months you may need to slow down some.

A hot bath and a heating pad also helped greatly. I checked with my doc and he said to keep it to 15-20 min on a max of medium.

You take care - it will get better!

I had a few pains like that in my first pregnancy, I worked on my feet all day long. I went and got checked, and my midwife said they were fibroids that I had, that were probably adjusting to the baby growing. It only lasted a couple of days though and never really came back. Relax, and if you need to, sit down or walk around depending on what you normally do. do something different for a while and maybe it'll go away. Don't worry, it won't last forever!

There isn't a whole lot you can do for it. I found it helped me to lean in towards the pain. Also, try not to make any sharp, quick movements. I also agree with one of the other answers....stretch. Braxton hicks (for me) felt like the real contractions I had when I had my baby 7 weeks ago BUT they were much less intense, didn't last long and were very random. If it persists I would def call the OBGYN. Just for reassurance you know? Good luck to you and congrats!!!

My round ligaments hurt w/my preg., but it got worse after each
pg, because they stretch more each time. know what your limits are, example: if they start hurting after 20 mins of walking, try only walking about 15 mins. If it gets really bad, I agree w/some of the other answers, please see your doctor. I would rather bug my doctor to death about every little pain & know it's normal, than to not say anything & find out something's wrong.

take some tylenol its safe. only two every four hours as needed. extra strength is fine. also try drinking more water and decaf. tea helps too. the water will help with the stretching pain. it does go away either that or you get used to it. anyway good luck and congrats.

if your doctor hasn't told you not to you can take an advil. It may help to alleviate a bit of the pain and make it more tolerable

unfourtnetly there is not much you can do execpt drink plenty of fluids (water is best) and just hold out and think that your baby is growing and preparing herself for birth and your body is preparing for labor. It will all be worth it I promise

check with your doctor, but it may be braxton hicks. Also , this is something new to you, so it may feel different and uncomfortable.

if it is really bad, and it sounds like it is,call your OB

congrats and good luck!
