Why is everyone into slamming Antonella Barba?

I have noticed that there are a lot of questions relating to Antonella Barba, and pretty much all of them are like the slam threads on most forums. I personaly find that she has a good voice, and if other people don't then so be it. But stop saying that she's a ***** because she has pics on the Internet that are a little racy. She didn't even post them up, okay?
Things like this crack me up, partially because of the responses posted. Here's a really good one:
"She is an awful singer. Humiliating herself up there is her punishment, but I don't think she is aware of just how bad she is. As for the photos, she had those up on websites before the show, so if anything, she's pleased they're out there because it helps her to get the votes of pervs, lonely teenage boys who up to now have only been able to sneak peeks at their sisters, and teen girls who admire the Paris Hilton attitude and lifestyle."
Is that really something you'd want to see on the Internet if it was about you?

Since ther wasn't enough room above, let me add one more thing; if you were in Antonella's position, and you came across all of these questions that people have posted, as well as all of the sites that are now dedicated to slamming her, how would you feel? I know I wouldn't like it.
My point is (and no, I'm not defending her because I think she's hot), if you have a probelm with her, be a little bit more polite about it, and not so vocal, because there are people that actually do like her.
And last night, the people that left AI, I agreed with the vote. Except for AJ (I think that was his name). Leslie NEEDED to go. She butchered that song.

No, I'm not into slamming her, no I don't get what you mean, and yes, American Idol is a singing competition. No, I do not think sh eused those pics to become famous, I think someone released them to get her kicked off. (Wondre who that could be... any names pop into your head? *cough* Amanda! *cough*)

American Idol isn't about looks. If it was, Melinda, LaKisha, Leslie, and a few others wouldn't have made it. I'm not saying that I only like Antonella, but at least give her a break. I really don't htink she would have posted the pics on her own, after what happened with Frenchie. Besides, antonellabarbapix.com was registered only on February 23, 2007, not before.

BTW, go to samspade.org, and type in antonellabarbapix.com in the whois part. You'll find out I'm right.

If attention is being paid to someone, everyone else divides into two groups. Those that congratulate and support and those who condemn and ridicule. It is interesting that there are so many professional singers and entertainers out there, that can honestly judge her performance. I guarantee you that everyone cutting her down, couldn't sing or dance for their life. So, who are they to talk? Are they the ones up there in front of millions of people? Are they the ones that feel the pressure to perform? Are they the ones who has the entire world ripping on them, posting hate messages and dirty pictures? Do any of you out there who are ripping on her, think that you could get up there on stage every week, knowing that you are being publicly ridiculed and perform at your best? Can any of you say that you have not had 'fun' while at college? Do none of you have pictures of yourselves in compromising positions? Are all of you so proper in every aspect of your life that you feel you have the right to judge her? She is a human being like anyone else, doing what she wants in life. How many of you can claim that? It would seem that everyone who has nothing good to say about her, really has nothing good to say about themselves and their own life. So when you people rip on her, just remember that you are advertising to the entire world what a pathetic little person you are.

I am not one to slam but from the beginning her missing her lines during the group auditions and she made it all this way? Other people missed their lines too and they didn't make it! You have your own opinion yes if you think that she has a nice voice because I don't think she does. How are you going to put her in the same group as Lakisha,Stephanie and Melinda? Sorry she does not fit in with these VERY VERY talented girls. It's so obvious that she is on the low level of talent next to these girls and for her to continue? It's so obvious that it's a popularity contest and it's sad that America is voting for no talent people on the show really sad. This just shows how America is.....only about looks. It's sad that they let go of one of the good talents from the male side too. American Idol is too high school.

I like Antonella. She doesn't seem so high strung on herself like her best friend was, very over confident, when Antonella is a better singer than her. Kinda like Melinda Doolittle, for someone with a huge lack of confidence, she has an amazing voice, and like Simon said and I agree, if she actually knew how good she was, it wouldn't change her sweet personality. I like that Antonella is not cocky, or over confident and likes to be herself which is probably a pop-rock kinda person. She has a good voice, she just doesn't know how to use it, and she picked songs that were way out of her league. Other than that, she is not at all someone I would consider disliking. I want her to stay, I don't know about winning, but I want to see her do well.

I don't know, I think people have this anamosity against her because they probably think she's like her friend who was completely over confident or because they feel she made it by her looks. She's pretty, but like she said, she doesn't have much vocal training. People who start off without much vocal training and have good voices, after the training they'll sound great. Antonella just needs to know how to use her voice, because it is good. She doesn't have to sound like many singers who do sound alike. I like voices that stand out, and hers does.

O.K. I didn't even finish reading your question or was it a statement. Honey, the girl can not sing. I didn't even know about any photos and really don't care. It's just really sad when people get sent home that are way better singers but they may not be as cute. People need to listen with their ears and not their hormones.
BY THE WAY I am EQUALLY upset that the little skinny boy with the long dark hair is still on there, he can't sing either. (Sinjony or something like that?)

I do not think she can sing that well, and those photos were a big disappointment we want an american idol that she a good role model, and having photos like that, like drinking underage, and all that stuff is not being a good girl.

Hey, ya take those kind of pictures and then try to become famous....we all know the outcome. It shouldn't be surprising, nor should all of the attention the pictures are getting. It's a mad, mad, mad world.
And, in my opinion, she really doesn't have a very strong singing voice. And when it comes down to it....American Idol is a singing contest (I think).

Well for one...I don't care for her...it may be because of what is on the internet....but it isn't....she can't sing very well..and all the judges agree...and I for one agree with Randy....not Simon neccessarily...but what she said to Simon really got to me...not taking his advice when she should have kept her mouth shut....and let the critisim flow over her....The other girl singers are way better than she is and I for one can't stand her....
She reminds me of Taylor Hicks, who won last season....I didn't care for him and thought Chris D. was better than him....oh well...

I just wish that she didn't have that website: votefortheworst.com behind her.....because otherwise she wouldn't be on there....and America gave her the sympathy vote too....

I am sorry u like her....at least someone does...I don't.....and I hope she gets voted off next week....

I think compered to the other girls she doesn't cut it and those pics were wrong and I would never do that and I think the only people voting for her is her family and boys!! But I don't get it are you into slamming her or not??

i don't even watch American Idol but I love Antonella Barba....she looks like she knows how to go down if you know what i mean
