Happiness is a state of mind. e.g. you become happy when you you know something good but you don't become happy if you know something better but is not for you.

It's entirely overrated... I find people who are always happy to be very mentally and emotionally draining and rather high maintenance.

it's about being happy but definately not about being selfish to get there.
