If there is any brake fluid remaining in the master cylinder and the brake pedal is able to pump the fluid to the brake cylinders, you can continue to pump the brake to slow and possibly stop.
As an alternative, I'd suggest downshifting the transmission sequentially into lower gears to slow the car and applying the EMERGENCY brake slowly. That why it has the name assigned to it. Don't slam the emergency brake all at once, since the car will continue to roll against the brake shoes/pads. When the car has slowed sufficiently, the emergency brake, which is connected only to the rear brakes of the car, will suddenly grab and you will wind up slammed against the steering wheel.
You can also help the process by turning off the engine with the ignitopn key, but don't do this until you are almost stopped completely. The steering wheel might lock and you won't be able to steer after that.

no if the master cylinder goes out on it that's it as far as using the foot brakes, but the emergency brake will stop it in the event that you have to use it,that is ,if the back brakes are in good shape, but most of the time it will bring it to a stop, good luck with it.

how much broken you mean i dont know but if your master cylinder is low in brake fluid due to leaking you will have a very spongy brakes cause of the air in the system but if you pump it
hard many times even spongy it will have a brake and stop a car
using a hand brake is too dangerous because it will lock the rear
wheel that can cause you a bad spin

If the reservoir is totally out of fluid, or the master cylinder simply can't build pressure at all, the emergency brake is your only hope, if you are fast enough, and aren't "tailgating"...

once the pressure in the lines are gone it will be next to imposible to stop the car. do not drive the car with the master cylinder damaged.
you could get into an accident and injure yourself or others.
have the car repaired

Use the emergency brake. It is independent of master cylinder.
Place the shifting to the lowest gear..
DO NOT TURN OFF THE IGNITION.
After it stops...get it fixed!!!!
