I got a violation e-mail. I asked do you abuse substance? and they violated me for illegal drug use. Substance can be anything. Am I right? I abuse Coca-cola and that's not illegal!

That's just not right!

I also asked where the YALF was, and they told me that was personal chatting. Darn it! Lost 20 points in one pop! I had a feeling that one would get deleted.

There are people on this site who will report others out of pure spite

incidentally, can I please ask EVERYONE to complain about Violations when they are not warranted.?
A lot of people have been deleted recently after working very hard to get up to a level where they can ask and answer unlimited.

If you get violated for something that is NOT even close to being offensive, please report it with the email header "harassment by another user" and state that you do not deserve this violation. Say that it is harassment and you want the matter investigated and the REPORTERS account suspended.

I will be reporting EVERY one from now on

Lets stop the mindless yobs destroying our work

Just one point though. If you deserve the Violation - take it on the chin !

Yahoo is incredibly prude and more than happy to overreact to every little thing. Also, people come in here looking for answers from Ph.D Harvard professors. Little do they know that this a major internet hangout spot for bored idiot teens and illiterate adults alike.

Perhaps they just miss interpreted your question and perhaps for their own protection they remove a question rather than get the binary bunions sued off their hypothetical butts.

With this in mind you do know it was this unethical behaviour that lost our ability in yahoo chat to create personal chat rooms. We don't want to see the same scenario happen in Yahoo Questions?

What about nocotine, or alcohol.
They are abused every day, but yet alcohilics and smokers get to use this site to ask about addiction.
