Quantum mechanics proposes that multiple worlds exist through which things are different in the traditional sense of how we perceive them. For example a shirt you may own in this world is white and one in another world is blue or has a stain on it.

I highly recommend Parallel Universes from Fred Allen Wolf if you interested in further information about this aspect of quantum mechanics. The book is somewhat dated but the explanations are in layman's terms and was an interesting read IMHO.

When a ray of light passes through a transparent glass, the ray will not know that it has passed through a glass. The glass also will not know that a ray has passed through it.

There can exist another world which may not revealing its presence to us, as there may not be any kind of influence on our world. A world may exist right in front of us parallel to our world

do you mean parallel universe? if so, it's a completely different reality from our own. it's probably just fiction. seems like its existence would be difficult, if not impossible, to prove or disprove. then again, i am not an expert in the field.

A PARALLEL universe is the exact opposite of our universe. Eg. 2 people are divorced in our universe and in a parallel universe they are married. get it?

Parallel Universe?....Example: Heaven/Hell
This is categorized under "fiction/fantasy" due to scientific discrepancies.

Are you referring to possible time travel? (totally different)
labeled.... "science fiction/fantasy"

Edit:
I'm NOT using a "belief system" when answering the question...although, people will use one to give negative votes.
