Personally, I'd leave them. You realize they pose NO threat to humans? But, if you don't want to, just call a "pest remover". They will be removed humanely bacause of their value to the environment
Shortstuff, bats are not rabid. If they were, they'd be dead.

Bats are good but bat droppings arn't. Call a call an expert. A device can be installed that will let them out but not back in. It's similar to an outside dryer vent.

Although we only service SE Michigan, there is some good information on our website (as well as links). You might also look at the Organization for Bat Conservation website. Here is a link to our bat exclusion page: http://www.crittercatchersinc.com/critters/bats/exclusion.html

I would leave them. Build a bat house and hang the bat house somewhere more appropriate. Bats eat mosquitoes and other insects and they pose no threat to humans. Think of them as your own personal exterminators.

Bats actually eat mosquitoes and flying pests. If they are not a health hazard, and most times bats will leave you alone, leave them be. If you are really concerned consult some experts.

In the UK Bats are protected, and their are serious penalties for disturbing a bat roost.. i suggest you seek professional advice, try speaking to your local council or environment agency they may know more about the laws surrounding bats..

Try calling "Pest Control" & let the experts do the job. If I were you, I would not attempt it myself, as you could get bitten & as you well know, bats are rabid.
