I have used some cream and its singed all my hair off my eyebrows. I am going to see someone to see if the roots are dead but what can I do in the mean time as eyebrow pencil seems so fake. If the roots are alive how do i make them look ok while they grow?

oh my sickness! poor you.
Ok, I did not realize that my friend's wife did not have eyebrows for years until one day I saw her without them. So, it is possible to be close to realistic using makeup.
You can order eyebrow stencils from some places on the web. I don't know what stores carry them.
ie. http://www.eyebrowz.com/creating.htm this place uses Verisign for secure online ordering.
I'd recommend using a brow powder and brow brush. I think it looks less severe/fake than a pencil.
Good luck.

Oh dear! Hope they grow back soon... In the mean time I wouldn't worry too much to be honest. How often do you really nothice peoples eyebrows... Buy a good eyebrow pencil and practice little tiny strokes with a very sharp pencil... You wanna make a load of little eyebrow hairs not a line...

Remember you can practice on paper first if doing it on your face is making you a bit stressed... Just make sure once you put the eyebrow pencil on you set it with a good translucent powder... It would be even better if you used a foundation base...

Best of luck

You can buy stencils that are shaped like eyebrows from the pharmacy/drug store, you usually place them over your eyebrows and then dust a powder over them to define your eyebrows. You could try this so at least you would look like you had some. Or you could get a fringe/bangs to hide your missing eyebrows

If you have used cream it is unlikely that you have damaged the roots to the hair so they should grow back. If this is not the case then you have a claim against the company who produced the cream. If the situation becomes permenant there are women who just draw thin lines or there is more permenant solution semi-tattoo which is a tattoo that last for about 5 years it is good to go to someone really skilled as to heavy colour will draw attention to your eyebrows. goodluck and remember hair removing cream is for your legs and not your eyebrows.

well, I can't think of anything besides eyebrow pencil, there is some really good stuff out there, and I can tell this is urgent. So you could go to the drug stoe and ask the make-up consultant some suggestions or you could get bangs that cover your eyebrows, that way go can get a cute hair cut as well

Good luck and good bye

you can have them tinted to make them look darker and more. if your eyebrows never grow back again you can have them tattooed on but there are some cosmetic surgeons that actually do hair implants on the eyebrows. when i want to fill my eyebrows in i actually use an old mascara that doesn't have any mascara in it and just brush lightly over my eyebrows. when using an eyebrow pencil never draw a line allways using light upward strokes making it look like hair.

The best thing you can really do right now is pencil it in... Make it as light as possible, because dark pencil lining makes it look very fake.. find a color that matches your hair color.. if the creme has burned and killed the roots then you might want to consider tattooing your eyebrows. If you go to a really good permanent makeup artist.. they can make it look natural.. but you might want to seek the company you used this creme from because that's unacceptable to have your hair burned off from it. Unless you used something incorrectly.. good luck

It may not be all pencils. Find a good pencil that matches your hair color. Move the pencil in the same way your eyebrow went. Make small marks at a time to make it look more like hair.

Oh, poor you. I'm afraid there's really no alternative to an eyebrow pencil until your brows grow back (I'm sure you won't have damaged the root). Try a powder pencil rather than a waxy one, and go for a shade lighter than your hair (The Body Shop do nice powder ones) and draw in your eyebrows with feathery strokes rather than a solid line.

Aw, you poor thing!

Try to draw eyebrows on using light strokes. Try a pencil from Lancome. Go to their counter, and they will be happy to help!
