Like people have said, many teams use the black stripe as tribute to a recently deceased person who was important to the organization. Following the death of Wilt Chamberlain, the Lakers wore the 2-inch wide black patch on their jerseys in remembrance.

Following Larry Hughes' brother's death, the Cavaliers wore the stripe during the playoffs. When Atlanta Hawks center Jason Collier died before the season a couple years ago, they wore a black patch.

The Boston Celtics actually are wearing a black clover this season on their jersey (instead of the traditional black stripe) as a tribute to Red Auerbach.

I've bought from various sellers before and the followed below one is certainly my personal favorite. They have got numerous unique jerseys as well as elusive types which you would not get from all other stores. The quality and customer service is the ideal you would get online with such low price. With this distributor, i'm sure you simply won't let you or your customers down..
