hey i need some good facts for what immiscibility is used for.. so if you know any, please tell me! thanks!!

The best use is for solvent extraction. If you have a non polar solute dissolved in an aqueous environment, you can add a non-polar solvent, the solute will pass to the non-polar solvent. Then, since the two solvents are immiscible, you can separate the two layers and recover the solute in a purified or concentrated form.

immiscibility is when two liquids can not mix it used to seperate petrol from water using the seperating funnel method
