I was just curious to know if u had menstrual like cramps during your pregnancy when u were pregnant with your baby girl? I know it has really nothing to do with it but im on my third baby at 18 weeks and i feel like the baby is going to sit low and i have off and on cramps that have happened since day one *usually when im very active*, people are telling me it will be a boy because of the cramps that happen sometimes and the baby sitting kinda low right now. I really want another girl *1 boy 1 girl so far*...what was your experience with this if any? thanks

I have had 2 girls and 1 son. With my son, I hardly knew I was pregnant the first few months. I wasn't sick, I had no cramping. With my daughters I had lots of cramping, I had severe nasea, and overall felt unwell. It is theorized that with girls, some moms get more sick because of the additional estrogen, but I have spoke to many moms who weren't sick at all with theirs. Hence, everyone is different.

Now I carried my 1st daughter low, very low. My son was high, and my 3rd (another girl) was pretty high also. People would say to me that they thought my 1st was a boy because she was low and vis versus with my son. Again everyone is different. The good news is that you are soon eligible for an ultrasound to find out the gender if you wish. That will eliminate all the guessing and speculation.

Good luck and congrats!

How the baby sits is *NOT* an indicator of sex. Neither is any other old wive's tale. As someone who has had 3 (soon to be 4) girls trust me when I say I've carried high, I've carried low, I've carried in the middle. It makes no difference and it's different in every pregnancy. Cramping also is not an indicator. The only people who could tell you what you are having is a professional sonogram technician or your doctor after he gets the results of an amniocintesis. Sorry :) Good Luck!

Hi, I just gave birth to a baby girl, just 10 days ago. I too have cramps but I don't think this could be used to determine the sex of the baby. I just want to share a wise man tale, which was passed to me by my friend. It seems that if the colour of the urine is yellow, it is said to be that the sex of the baby is girl.

Congrats and don't worry. May God Bless U with a beautiful baby girl. Take care

my son was very high in my belly right up until a week or so before birth. I had a lot of backaches with him.

I am carrying a baby girl now(25 weeks) and she is sitting very low and also kicks very low. I don't so much feel the pain in my back this time, it's more of a pulling in my stomach.

good luck and congrats!!!!!!!!

I have 3 girls.....I had period like cramps with all of them....my second daughter laid soo low that at times I thought she was gonna come out of my legs. Everybody(myself included) thought she was gonna be a boy...but nope...so it is very possible to still have a girl and it be low. That is just an old wives tale.

Its different for everyone, I had a girl and I never had cramps or anything. But every pregnancy is different with every woman.
