the majority of kids stay think their parents having sex is gross. you need to approach it the same way. another approach would be to ask them what they think about their grandparents having sex. they will think it is gross also, so you simply state that there is no difference and that they do not need to worry themselves with the things you do in private.

Most people do find gay sex disgusting. That doesn't mean they hate gays. Don't expose them to the act.
If you're one of a gay couple with kids, then there are two things to consider:
1. The thought of my (straight) parents having sex still puts me off - is your child thinking the same?
2. Isn't your child just expressing aversion to the act?

Tell you child that around 90% of the people in the world are men who like women, and women who like men. The other 10% are men who like men and women who like women. A great many of that 10% find heterosexual sex disgusting, and everyone is entitled to their own true feeling. Emphasize that what folks due in their private bedroom is not a yardstick to be used to measure a persons worth or quality as a human being.

I'm not gay, but after 10 years and 2 kids, my ex decided to switch teams. My kids would tell gay jokes, which was strange because they knew their mother was gay. I couldn't help to laugh although somewhat uncomfortably because of the tension that develop between the two of us. (money, not sex)
Now that they are grown, they accept gay people for who they are, but they don't accept the lifestyle or mantra.
Children need to reconcile sex in their own time, in their own way. No doubt they will form many different norms as they develop.

depending on the age of the child any and all sex is disgusting! if my child, clearly knowing they live within a homosexual relationship, tells me they are grossed out by it all then i feel it's my duty as a parent to help calm their anxieties. i would NOT try to change their minds however, and i would seek a professional should that become a need.

I will assume that he is straight and there is nothing wrong with it. Depending on the age of the child I explain to him/her that daddy is gay and daddy practice gay sex and that is a daddy's decision so he/she aint got no M/Fing bussiness and no personal opinions is expected

to each their own. If my child isn't gay and thinks gay sex is wrong and gross, that's fine. That's his thoughts and feelings and he has the right to feel that way.
Gay couples or singles that have children know that their children aren't also going to be gay. Gay couples have straight kids. Just like straight couples have gay kids.

A lot of straight people find the act of gay sex disgusting, but it doesnt mean they are homophobic....I personally find the act of straight sex disgusting as the vagina completely grosses me out, but Im not heterophobic (is that a word).....let him be unless he starts being a complete bigot....at which time you should smack him upside the head until the ignorance goes flying out of him
