Hi there!
Congratulations on your wedding! Money wasn't as much of an issue for me but I did my own too. I didn't want to deal with the stress of picking someone and then maybe not feeling like myself. I suggest natural looking makeup. What is cool or trendy now or even your all-time favorite may not be in a few years. When you look back at your pics you don't want them to be too dated.
Also, remember that makeup translates very differently in photographs. You'll need a little heavier hand when it comes to some things, lighter with others.

Will you be doing any black and whites? That's important too. You may want less shine for your pics, and more for fun at the reception.
As for your question about eyeliners and lip gloss I'm partial to Mark by Avon. That's why I chose to rep. it. It's long lasting, very cheap (on par with the drugstore stuff). Feel free to contact me with questions.
I don't mean to solicit, so don't get me wrong. I'm pretty basic and practical. If it doesn't work I'll say so. If I really like it I say that too. =)
Hope that helped!

victorias secret lipglosses are very glossy. Also, bath and body works has a high shine line which has a mint flavor so your breath is pretty. Sometimes I used the cheap one with the sparkles...just looks shiny and shimmery on lips try the clear ones. I see that there are new lines out which are shiny plus color. For eyeliner...mary kay is great, the liquid one. Lasts forever. I sell it and use it so I know :)

Mary Kay has the best eyeliner ever!!! Before I became a consultant I used to buy this stuff in bulk!!! I have tried just about every eyeline out ther and Mary Kay has the truest charcoal eyeliner. There is other colors available too. They glide on really smooth and doesnt feel like your carving your eyelids with pencils! And the color lasts all day so you dont have to apply it more than once. and if you cry, it doesnt run all over your face!
also the lip gloss is awesome and doesnt dry out your lips and feel all sticky! yuck!

P.s. I can give you a free sample if you'd like so you can see for yourself!

I use this Eye Line Last and it lasted from 8am- 1am!! I went to work and then went to a Friends house and THEN went to the Club and when I got home it looked like I had JUST put it on! :D

As far as your Super Shiny Gloss issue- I would use a Lipstick and then a Colorfix Lipstick Sealant and THEN a Clear High Gloss! I do Bridal makeup as a Side job- I am a Stylist.

I would also throw on some Loose Shimmer Powder- Put some on the apples of your cheek and then some on your Chest. Dont over do this!

Also- go to Google and tpye in "Bridal Makeup" and you will find a lot of neat things to do that will go great with your dress and Colors you picked out!

waterproof liquid eyeliner from any of the decent brands (CG, Revlon, Maybelline, etc.) & Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush lip gloss. The large amount of almost-microscopic-sized glitter in it helps make your lips look super shiny.

Mac waterproof pencil eyeliner (for inside of eyes).
Almay liquid eyeliner (for outer lid)
Beauty Rush lip gloss by Victoria's Secret

These all work bomb and I hardly ever reapply my eyeliner!

The lip gloss tastes and smells good!!!!! It is also very shiny and moisturizing!

Congradulations. i wish the marriage is going nicely! i'm addicted to max factors eye liner. I surely have small chinese language eyes and each eyeliner i exploit smudges directly to my strategies-blowing lid OR supplies me familiar panda eyes. i've got used lots and foung that the Max component coloration Perfection is the wonderful inexpensive one to apply. in actuality it is so lots extra useful than lots of the high priced ones i've got wasted my money on. MX coloration Perfection is nearly a pencil, even however, would not want sprucing as you in basic terms roll the pencil up in case you like extra. in case you do like your eye liner to have a pointy tip, they have a small sharpener wedged interior the strategies-blowing of the pencil to get that high-quality line in case you like it. that's marvelous and is fairly uncomplicated to apply (even on my small eyes!) good success! x
