No...they may have gotten momentum if they attacked without warning, but the industrial capability of the USA would eventually wear them down.

Erm.. Did they? No. Nuff said. :P

However, In my opinion if the Normandy landings had horrifically failed then the Nazis would have taken Russia and then with their new naval superiority, their U-Boats would have then crippled any and all attacking fleets sent to Europe from the US & they would have eventually taken Britain & America (we'd have still given them a hell of a good fight). They would have started by taking Ireland, and Possibly Mexico/Canada, and built up massive military installments there, in preparation for their big ground push.

The Americans here need to remember that at the time Germany had the world's largest, most powerful military force. One-on-one they smashed opposing armies on the ground- literally; most of their invasions were successful after days if not weeks, and only through great teamwork and alliances could they be defeated.

So uh, whilst that became a stunning little precis of censorship throughout Nazi Germany, you probably did not fairly tackle your individual question, that's very odd. whilst there may well be info to indicate that the regulation of advice channels may well be a aim for the two considerable events, i don't think of that's particularly and fullyyt orientated in the direction of the left. additionally, Cicero: You do comprehend that the political spectrum is a continuum, not a sliding scale maximum appropriate? bypass a techniques adequate left and you will substitute right into a techniques good? bypass a techniques adequate good and you will bypass a techniques left? Tyranny lies at the two ends of the spectrum.

No, the distance of the Atlantic Ocean made this impossible. America is protected by two Seas, the Japanese couldn't defeat America on the Pacific in spite of a crippling first strike at Pearl Harbor and they had an awe inspiring Naval force and a motivated armed forces. America was invincible and still remains so to this day.

A determined Cub Scout troop with slingshots could defeat the bleeding hearts of today's America. We should CRUSH our enemies, every man woman and child. They all danced in the streets when the towers fell.....No Mercy!

No, Clarkie is right. America and Nazi Germany were in war with each other and America won along with the other Allies, I think that answers the question.

In hindsight perhaps the mistake that Hitler made was in attacking Russia, think perhaps otherwise we english would be speaking German by now.
Do't forget that USA were sitting on the fence in many ways until Pearl Harbour, but I think that Germany would not have been able to make any move on the USA itself they didnt have the hardware to do it

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't. Although the germans had some real good military tech, & might have been able to do mare damage than they did, but the Americans were much more developed, had a superior army, & last but not least, had nearly the whole world supporting them...

Hmm, that's such an interesting question! I don't really think so. I think the US pop. was still larger than the Nazi, even at their peak.

I think they would have....its not all about strength...its about loyalty and courage to fight and i think nazi forces were more loyal to Hitler and had more courage to defeat US and allies than US. And moreover....i think Germany had and still have the edge in engineering and technology over the US.
