Bastard children????

I found out that i'm pregnant and my aunt just called me asking me why it is that i don't want to get married. i told her why should i? i already live with him and ect. she told me that those kind of kids are called bastard children and i told her that they're not because bastard children don't have a mom or dad in their lives.

Are there any extra benefits children get when their parents are married intead of their parents being together? and are those kids considered bastard children?

well she may call your child that,an realy it mean to have a child out of wed lock,... but realy, you going to love that child ,no matture what, now back in the old day yes they shon away from a wom, when she had a child like this, but in to day worlds they dont give it a sec thought, so you do what you need to care for you an your chil an dont worried aboutthe rest, if you are happy an the child an bf happy, that all that count

I wouldn't worry too much about what she says. My dad said the same thing about my first child. I was 20 and the man did not want to stay with me. I had the child and he is 14 now. I have since found another man and still am not married to him, we have 3 kids together. So, with 4 children and never being married, my kids are not labeled other than my kids. They are stable kids and are doing well in school too. Also, my dad ended up loving all my kids and I never heard the B word again.
