i think not because he may be not a friend and he can use your number to find u or to harm u SO i do not suggest so...... its for your own good.... besides how well do u really know him to talk to him on ur cell..... u chatted with him .... that's not enough to make u trust him or her

I have! The last "chat friend" i talked to on the phone is now my 1 1/2 year boyfriend! He was in my city before i even started chatting with him (our paths just never crossed), and during the time we were chatting he was in another country, and told me he would be back. I didnt believe him of course, but one day i received a call from him, and told me he had just arrived into my city. We became "real" friends and months later asked me to be his gf. We've been together since!

Who's paying the bill???
Why don't you just join a yahoo chat in voice or create your own chat room and use the voice feature, and save yourself the problem of a phone bill and you can talk all you want. I am suspicious of a 'friend' who can't talk with you online.. hmm guess its the Grandma in me.
Save yourself a lot of trouble and try the chat room voice feature. Tell her get a headset with mic if she don't have a puter with a built in mic.
If you have done this already.. why do you have to chat on a phone?

Yes and it's no bit different than talking to a friend you have at work or school, etc. Just don't give out too much personal info, stay safe.
