The first time that I drove through NJ, I was surprised how nice it was. Granted, I had only heard the negative stuff before, so I had no preparation for the Garden State. But, between Trenton and Newark are some nice woodsy spots. I like Princeton (the area...not necessarily the school.)
So no, you're not less sexy for being from New Jersey. You just have overcome some bad PR.
