She use to work for Berry Goldwater also. I always thought if the conservative male could get past the father figure image with Hillary and accept women can keep us just as safe as a man from terrorist then she is a good republican candidate.

Yes.... I don't see your point.

People are obsessed with using the term "flip-flop" anytime someone changes their mind. In this case, someone who was in college decades ago who changed political affiliation. Everyone "flip-flops" on important issues... You might not like her and that is fine but give up on using this term. You can use the term "flip-flop" with any politician. Bush "flip-flopped" when he dropped the un-monitored national wire-tapping; Tony Blair when he "flip-flopped" when he announced the pull-out. I could go on and on. This is politics... this is survival... you have to change your policies and ideals sometimes to survive. Show me a politician who has NOT "flip-flopped" and I will show you someone on a local school board.

Personally, I would not trust anyone who has NEVER changed their mind, or "flip-flopped" in your words. Stubborn leaders are dangerous for the public.

So I guess it's not legal in this country to change your mind as you mature. When I was 18 I considered myself a republican mainly b/c that's the direction I was steered in. My family is republican, so I thought that was the right way. It wasn't until I was in my mid 20's that I realized that there is no way in hell I can be a republican! It doesn't fir my ideals. So call it flip flopping if you want, I tend to think that it just took me a while to see the light.

And you have never changed your mind about anything? I would be very concerned about a politician that had had the same identical views all of his or her life. In fact, that would scare me.

People have the right to change their minds and views.

Why do you only use the term flip flop when it comes to Democrats? What about neocons? Aren't they flip-flopping? And Hillary finally saw the light in my opinion.

Oh get over it. She was raised a Republican then became sensible.
If she is a flip flopper, then so is Rudy Guliani. He was a Democrat, then an independent then a Republican. talk about flip flop it would give you whip lash

I think she came to her senses and switched to Democrat. Speaking of flip-flop, in the last month, Rudy has changed his stance on gun control, gay rights, and has suddenly become conservative despite marrying his cousin for 14 years and marching in a gay pride parade dressed in drag. Nice try though.
