These two things have nothing to do with each other. If one judges another, it does not mean that they think they are perfect. Maybe they even want the critical input of others on their faults. Judging is not always bad, it can be a great source of improvement. It's all in how the criticism is phrased and how sensitive, insecure, or uwanting of criticism the receiver is.

I think it has to do with the notion that everyone thinks they are right, or more precisely, the way I do it is the right way, what I do is the right thing.
People fail to realize that what is right for them is not necessarily right for someone else. Therefore whatever someone else is doing, even though it is right for them, is wrong and therefore must be judged as inferior.
As wrong as this manner of thinking may be, almost everyone is guilty to some degree.

i think its because they just dont understand. i used to judge people with tats until i got mines. i have a different perspective on the whole situation and now understand that it's not just a tattoo; its art and all art has a meaning that holds deep with that person.

moreover, most of society is narrow minded.
