That study is inconclusive. The issue was more with the plastic used in the bottle itself and not the silicon or rubber in the nipple.

Your best bet it to stick with plain silicon nipples, or natural rubber ones.

Don't freak yourself out. Realize that our parents raised us without all these studies on foods, bottles etc. We turned out fine and our parents turned out fine. I don't believe the is a higher incidence of neurological defecits among the older generations!
