CB is a demanding position because it is not all about the interceptions and speed. It is also about tackles and blocked passes. If you can catch the ball well and you run good routes, You should highly think about being a WR. I thought i would be a QB my freshman year. I had a good arm and speed to scramble but my coach found out that I was more adapt to being a RB. I have lead the team in yards both my Freshman and Sophmore season. Look into both position though before you make your decision.

You have to be more than fast to play any position in football, but if you're leaning towards CB I would talk you away from it. Being only 5'4 and 110 lbs is a small CB. You'd be better fit for FS. You'll still be in coverage but wont be expected to go one on one with a WR who, more than likely, will be a few inches taller that you are. Stick to defense and learn the role of the FS I believe it will truly be your best move but you have to also know how to hit someone being a safety. Kind of think of it as a smaller linebacker with some corner skills.

If your fast like you say, most high schools will assign you an offensive and defensive positioni. At your size CB and WR are your best bets. Be flexible to play either postion, if your coach is worth his weight, he'll help determine where the right fit it. Also, be open to special teams KR and PR... just be open and demonstrate you'll work hard. Good luck!

I would say play wideout but eventually you are going to have to put on alot of weight to play running back because most schools are not going to recruit a 5'4'' wideout

you might be fast but that's not everything your short no affluence and most people have average receivers and above average receivers if your vertical isn't like a 40 or a 35 then they will throw over your head all night.
