He told me he can't understand how I get all the house work done, and still have time to raise the kids and cook a good meal every night, should I cut the stems before I place them In the Tiffanies vase they came with?

Wow - you are such a lucky lady!! I read in Martha Stewart Living that you should always trim the stems before placing them in the vase. Be sure to add some baby's breath for that extra Wow to the arrangement.

Yeah, cut off the bottom inch under running water at an angle and put them in fresh water in the vase...... They will keep longer that way. Then just change the water every 2 or 3 days.

rub it in...i work a full time job, part time job, still go home, cook dinner for my 17 yr old and b/f and can't even get roses for valentine's day!?? what is up with that??

yes, you need to cut the stems, but you want to cut them at a "joint" so that they can absorb the correct amt of water...if you don't, they will sit there and take in nothing.

Well everything is wrapped up in a nice little package eh??? I'm a stay at home mom too, I'm jealous I dont know how you find the time. But to answer your question, no dont cut them stems, they'll die faster. Like my insides.

Yes, I would cut the stems first.. That would help them stay alive longer...

he is a keeper, lucky you! Yes at a 45 degree angle, and put a little sprinkle of sugar, just a pinch, in the water, they will stay longer, good luck and God Bless to you both.

Yes, be sure to cut them at an angle. Better water absorption.
