I had a womanfreind who was a "natural born" psychic.
It appeared that she had led a "sheltered" life. When a
child says Granny is going to "kick the bucket". And Granny dies! People don't like that.
She had very little practical understanding of things. In
fact, she got Crappy, when things I explained to her
kept coming up in her metaphysical cleric, teaching
"books".

I believe she has a gift, but I believe she fakes it till she makes it sometimes too. I feel a lot of people may be able to reach the other side, one way or another but... most people are afraid of being ridiculed. That whole Salem Witch thing ya know!? Theres nothing scarier than a large group of frightened , hateful people. The thing that bothers me about Sylvia is that she charges $700 an hour! Not exactly what she preaches!

am cynical and skeptical of all psychics and psychic sites. did a sociology paper several years ago on them and the test group answered questions which could be interpreted by the reader in different ways or the answers varied widely. ten years later was still receiving ads by psychics I never heard of. just to confirm my findings the last few days have checked a " free question " site which wanted a credit card number before answering the question. so hopefully this will help you.

you want to believe that this life has a greater meaning and for your childhood, hopefully you did have a warm and loving group of people put that into you that there was something to hope for...it is a nice thing to do...albeit, untrue...Sylvia Browne and the whole phenomenon of religion, belief and the occult stem from one basic human need to find out that there is more to life than what we see...fact is, we do not like what we see so many times that coloring it with this fantasy makes it all the more palatable and avoidable...really, it is a milder form of avoidance than drug use to run from your problems...people have been doing it for millenia and it has become such a strong theme in the meme of each person, anything contrary to what strikes a relative chord of agreeance to your core beliefs will cause you to say it is a lie...when in fact, what you believe is not even the truth, not even a truth that you came by but rather a truth that all of society, your family and the environment you grew up in put inside you...Sylvia Browne is just one of those brilliant leeches who can suck the life taking force of this out of people by making something that rings that "familiar chord" of what she calls the "truth"..it is more like she has worked hard to have a universal trigger, you would agree that there are indeed fairies dancing around your bird bath from one of the many levels of creation...because you really want to believe something akin to that...it just naturally flows from you...so, then, it is the apparent truth based upon nothing more than the conditioning and feeling you got from the whole experience...but you have never touched on all that is truly possible still in this moment right now...when you are you...and whatever this life is, is yours solely and you need not attribute any of this to anyone or anything but yourself....Sylvia is singing a lullaby to sheeple she loves to fleece over and over again with rehashing of the same ole stuff she has been working over before...keep in mind, she does have a Master's degree in comparative religion...she was a parochial school teacher for a long time and most of what her Novus Spiritus is a more palatable rewrite of the Catholic religion with everything from Wicca to ancient Babylonian Nimrod mythology thrown in a soup anyone can eat on the buffet where you can take what you want and leave the rest...there's no gift there, unless you buy her books then her gift if more akin to the craft of PT Barnum who I would say if he were alive today, he would be one of her ministers hucking and shucking people's$$$$ faster than anyone in her organization is currently doing...her personal observations are very expensive opinions that are as useful as dog piss in coffee...but somehow, so many drink it down any ways and pay twice the Starbuck's rate for the same ole snake oil and swill...repackaged...
I have had these premonitions about fourteen people and it is merely coincidence to this day...

so often though, people want to get into the "metaphysical" to avoid dealing with the physical which they never come to grips with...of course, the diet industry is glad to keep selling things that make people feel better that they are doing something for themselves by spending money, yet doing nothing after the transaction...but only to cause a spiral of more and more transactions like an addiction to find some happiness...Sylvia Browne is such a business woman...selling more and more fluff without the fulfillment....her "gift" is a world full of gullible people hoping for something better in their lives but too lazy to use the life they were given to make something beautiful out of it...

so often, only the crippled people can make the most of running because they earned it when they got that far...no books needed...
