will not start its a tm 250 crosser think its the carb can anyone help with this?

I don't know your bike but can offer some general ideas. First I'd try replacing the spark plugs - often the problem.

If you have to clean out the carb, it isn't too hard. Buy a new set of carb gaskets (your dealer can get you the full set if you tell him make model year - while you're there get the service manual for your bike too. this will help in reassembly). And get this stuff: Gunk carburetor and parts cleaner (I think I got it at Advance Auto Parts). It comes in a paint can and has a basket inside. Drain out the carb (turn the fuel valve off, and drain the gas lines first) and disassemble the carb and clean each piece by dipping into the cleaner. Follow directions on the can. Reassemble using all new gaskets and reinstall. Even if it wasn't what you needed, it's good for your bike.

Not a Suzuki TM250? If it is its about 35yrs old and needs a rebuild
