Try throwing the pokeball at the abra immediately without attacking it. If you get lucky you may catch it

One, tell her to get a pokemon with a move like Sing or Thunderwave, so she can stop it from running away. Then, she needs a really good pokeball, e.g. ultraball. Then, it's just pure luck! She could also try cloning masterballs, if she knows how to.

It must be put to sleep, frozen or paralyzed in order to prevent it from using Teleport, or it must be caught at full HP on the first turn.

she either has to get lucky with a pokeball or have a pokemon with a high speed to put it to sleep

ok, i used to play pokemon before, i think she needs a good ball, master ball, and if he runs from first time, i think she must attack him so his run fails, then try to catch it!
