but the other day I was in the grocery store and my little boy the "h" word...I was shocked and appalled. I can't believe he would do such a thing. I punished him by taking away his flute for the weekend. How can I make sure such a thing never happens a again? Any advice? ..peace love and happiness to all you fellow soccer moms out there...

Oh my goodness, you must wash his mouth out with soap everyday until he starts to use real words .. fallopian tube, and penal code, cocktail, you with me on this.. Us moms have to stick together... or we'll just have video game playing monsters...lol

I think what you did was okay. Children probably shouldn't learn such language. Remember, once he hits high school, he will probably start using it on a regular basis with his friends. Try suggesting that he use a different word or something to express what he wants to say. I use silly words sometimes to stop my cussing (it actually worked which is supprising).
Is that word really bad? I thought it was H-E-double hockey sticks. Oh wells, I can't say shut up in front of my cousins anyway.

You are freaking crazy if you think that is a bad word. I am "shocked and appalled" that you went as far as to take away his flute. What is that they say in soccer, "you're carded" or something like?
My advice care more about the "f", "d", and "b" words.
