Why is it that reaching high, and being high is equated to power? does it have to do something with reaching the sky or does it have some kind of history as to why we equate taller people with powerful characteristics? or handsomeness, or whatever..

I'm 5'3. I don't feel inferior to tall people in anything except my height.
I AM jealous of taller women because they have the ability to get on any bike they want. I have to deal with having it lowered to fit me. That sucks.

I am short and I am also powerful and strong. I am more flexible than a tall person. Notice the split in my picture. I am NOT intimidate by ANYONE. I don't care how tall a person is. I know I am better than them.

That's not always the case. For example, have you ever heard of the Frankenstein Complex? It's when a person feels insecure because of his or her height, and he/she will speak more quietly, slouch and sit more often than others, and so on in order to keep his/her height from showing so much.

that is a myth. short people do not feel inferior to taller people..
taller people just want to think this is true so they don't need to feel guilty for all the short jokes.

Your statement is a generalization. I'm short and my boyfriend is tall, we don't feel inferior or superior because of that.

no idea... im 5'2 and 1/4 of an inch and all my friends are super tall and they all make fun of me for it... well... at least i no that im better at most sports like soccer than them... they arent as good with all that agility and stuff...
