Consider that all sexuality is on a continuum and some people are in the very middle. They can go either way and it depends on whom they meet and how cool they are.

Sexuality is never a choice. Nurture just makes it easier for people to come out or not. Only choice is for a bi-sexual choosing to be with a man or a woman on a certain night.

If sexual orientation is a choice than we are all bisexual. You identify as straight today but you are capable of expressing your sexuality in a homosexual way but you haven't found the situation or the individual you want for expressing your homosexuality. You may never experience anything other than a heterosexual sex but given the right situation you would be able to perform sexually.

I particularly could confess 13 is truly a smooth age to understand completely what your sexuality is! and the point isn't all about kissing! in case you hit upon the lads eye-catching,, and in case you experience like you actually wonna only flow upto this guy in college and kiss him then it may coach signs and indications of being gay! yet at 13 you'd be curious,, i became! I particularly could abit i'm in reality 3 yrs older yet i now understand i'm gay! and yeah its no longer gonna be ordinary to discover someone if you're. yet yeah you cant tell your sexuality only by technique of kissing someone! there is alot more suitable amotion in it than that :) and at 13 there is alot emotion and hormones going round you,, so only ignore about it for abit :) and then in case you start up to discover the lads eye-catching etcc,, then imagine about looking for someone,, who perhaps you are able to attempt a courting with,, this may then coach you even if you're gay, bi or right now :) it will be clean contained in the top :) xx

I guess this is only the 450th time this has been asked today - it's still early.
Scientists report that sexual orientation is inborn. No one chooses either way.
Some people are "gay for pay." These are the people I believe you have met in your work.
Do not confuse behavior with natural sexual orientation. Some men have gay sex in prison - that doesn't mean they "turned" gay, they just had a sexual act. Period.

I typically go against the "Popular Thought' about certain issues. The reason why people are Gay is one of them. I find that people want to either think that all people that are Gay are all born that way, and the other side wants to say that all people that are Gay wanted to become Gay-- as in purely by choice.
I don't think that either one applies to all cases. I think that some people made the choice, and some people were born that way.

In rare cases some people choose to be gay or straight. Some women turn to women after being abused by men and end up loving being a lesbian....MOST people are born gay or straight, though.

I think if people are molested as children it might determine who they are in later years. I also believe that some people were born homosexuals, just as how some people are born with physical deformities. I can't for the life of me see why men especially would opt for being with other men, when they are so discriminated against and despised and laughed at behind their backs (no puns intended here). For me, like Maurice Chevalier, I am thanking heavens for little girls, for without them what would us little boys do. A friend of mine said that if there are anything nicer than women, we don't have it here on earth.

It is easy to understand that a bisexual could choose to live on either side of the fence. So YES, some can choose, but not everyone.

Many traits may be predetermined, like weight, addictions, compulsive behavior, so what? We have the ability to shape our lives as we wish in spite of our organic make up.
