Why do Cons say that it's ONLY terrorist killing civilians in Iraq?

You are completely right. The Cons, however, simply argue that civilian deaths are inevitable in any war. What they fail to see with that argument is that there are two sides in every war. They seem to be saying that in a war situation it is ok when civilians die at the hands of the US military but not at the hands of the other side.

When tortured and murdered bodies are found (over 500 in Feb, 1300 the month before), when truck or car bombs are exploded in crowded market places, when Islamic radicals cut off an innocent victim's head just to make another video and when suicide bombers detonate themselves at religious or social gatherings - their target is clearly the civilians who voted, the same civilians who refuse to be part of their demented blood lust and ideology.
Before you condemn the Americans for the unintended consequences of civilian deaths in a war where the enemy consistantly hides in mosques and behind the women and children and easily blends into the populous, consider the objectives.
The Americans are fighting to give the Iraqi people freedom, to initiate a government that answers to the people instead of the other way around. The terrorists, on the other hand, are fighting to prevent this freedom and, instead, install total Islamic control and Sharia law in an effort to further their agenda of hate and domination throughout the world.
They have made their objectives very clear. Do you think they will abandon their tactics of terror and murder if they are victorious?
Even the terrorists aren't dumb enough to abandon success.
Remember, the last time a demented ideology of hate and world domination was allowed to fester and grow - it resulted in WWII - the ultimate cost was an estimated 62 MILLION deaths to finally put an end to it. We have an opportunity to repeat this mistake, or, we can try and put an end to it now, once and for all. The choice is ours.

i have yet to see any mainstream news media report this. civilians have died due to US mistakes but you cannot compare the two. stop being a hater of the cons. and the people that the dems want to have dialog with are the same ones bombing churches, schools, hospitals and general population areas.and to say we are killing equal numbers is irresponsible and reckless.

"Large numbers of civilian casualties" does not imply that the U.S. is killing as many civilians as the terrorists and insurgents.
