I recently installed Kaspersky Internet Security, now everytime I switch the computer off it tells me a new programme has been installed - yet its the same one Kaspersky - this has gone on for a week now, anyone know how i can get round this before I contact Kaspersky. It's just an annoyance nothing else.

have you clicked onto the ballon the message is in or the programme lists if the message is there?sometimes it just wants you to acknowlge you have read it then it will stop

Right click on your task bar, select properties in task bar then start menu select customise then advanced. you will find a box highlight newly installed programs. Remove the tick click OK then apply on the next screen OK again job done. Hope this helps.

When anti virus software updates its engine you get a pop up new program installed as the update changes the signature of the previous program
