Ok this may sound crazy, but go with me on this theory for a minute.

I think that with the world evolving how it is, pretty soon, humans will evolve to have extremely large brains with all the new information we need, no vocal cords, because we'll all communicate telepathically, no food because there will be some other way to nutritionalise ourselves. And we will probably conquer time-travel too.

So my theory is that "aliens" are actually humans from hundreds of years in the future who have time-travelled back to "today" and are just trying to find out all they can about the way "humans" used to live before they evolved.

Does anyone think this could actually be right? I think its a pretty good theory. Obviously there just isnt enough space to go on and on about all the other things that could point this way.

Whats your views?

Interesting theory... for reasons I wont go into now, I have learned in my sixty-one (62 next month) years on this planet, that past, present and future run side by side... and that we never die... we cross over.

so your theory isn't daft at all.

I've seen ghosts and spoken with them.

I've also seen the future and predicted many things and all have come about and it has cost me dearly (weirdo is their best remark) and... I've twice inside my life seen UFOs and both time, they did things that no conventional crafts at those times (I was eight and 29 years old) could do the things they did.

Both times there were three of them... and I'm still pondering on this fact!

Not seen the inhabitants, not close enough.

So... I'll buy your theory as a possibility:-)

Don't stop asking questions like it... and don't stop musing on the answers... It's what makes you grow!

if you think about it,time travel doesn't necessarily require a physical presence. We do this in movies and documentaries in some ways.Since many things become memories anyway all we really need is the virtual reality aspect of it. Once we have figured out how to record memories or sensory input/output and plug into this so-called matrix there isn't a need to support the idea of a physical body in the process of time travel. Many believe we have a residual living presence or energy that survives after death. The ability to communicate using a medium whether it's another person or an artificial device should be around the corner with advancing technologies. Many may suspect we already have it in some form. Since we have had alleged fallen extraterrestrials, they would have more than likely already achieved immortality and artificial forms/bodies for scientific research and space travel. Many assume that heaven is similar to what you have described. For all we know our planet has been recorded this way for hundreds if not thousands of years already.Look into remote viewing which is similar to astral travel. I remember being part of a research program when I was around 11 years old. It apparently involved remote viewing but there hasn't been any acknowledgment from any government sources. China supposedly has become heavily involved with their own remote viewing program and is said to be using children as well. Chances are if there are other advanced systems out there that they too may have tried or succeeded in implementing a Utopian type of society. There are numerous possibilities.

It's a far fetched theory, but it's another point of view.

It took us 1 million years for us to walk up straight, what are the chances are that we will have really big brains though?

I have read stuff that says the world will end soon (and b the sound of things going around, it seems likely - Notradamus sort of thing). The possiblity of us surviving a few more billion years for us to evolve to such a state of being is pretty unlikely unless we take on mutation more radical than what they show on X-Men. Besides, the sun will burn out about that time anyway so the possibility is even more slim.

Good luck on your theory though

good theory and nicely backed up..
sorry to burst the bubble though, but this has been a popular theory around for years. i first heard it when i was in school.

It's a widely popular theory, sometimes called the seeded theory.

That genetic material was brought o earth in its baby stages, and were a giant experiment by these aliens, and they pop along occassinoally to make sure we're on the right track.

personally i think it's as likely as other theories.
The odds are that there is intelligent life out there, but slim to none that we have been visited by them.

The vast size of the universe, if theer wasn't it'd be an awful waste of space.

I agree with you. its all about evoluton.Aliens are a future version of human.Lamarckian view
on organic evolution says so.In the First thought food is not for
nutrializing us it is to give us energy.According to him, an organ being
used the most efficiently over a long peroid of time would generate
or grow big to do its work at its highest quality and an organ that
isnt much used diminishes or de genertes. As humans we use our eyes and brian more
so it may grow in size and it function like more cerebral capacity
and clear vision respectively. The part we dont use much like hair will
probably diminish. So we humans will evolve from normal human to SUPER HUMANS and
SUPER HUMANS from outside the earth are said to be aliens by us, humans.
iam just a high schooler and i do a lot of research about life in outer space.
hope this was helpful to ya. :)

It's one of the two main theories. The other being that life is actually very abundant in the universe; given the vastness of it and they do actually stumble on us from time to time.

Theory three of mine, time travel is impossible, and we are the most advanced life in the universe - someone has to be first after all. Therefore, there are no aliens.

A theory is only valid if it has some supporting evidence. Whilst your remarks form an interesting excursion into fantasy, they do not form a supportable theory in any way. There is much talk of 'aliens', which aliens? I've never heard of any outside a comic book!!

Sounds like a good a theory as any!! If you are interested in aliens I suggest you read the book The Swarm!! It is basically about aliens - but rather than them coming from out of space they are living in our oceans!! And they are not what you expect them to be. It is a fiction book, and is rather a large book, but very good. I highly recommend it!!

Maybe. But what about the temporal paradoxes that could be caused by these "aliens" traveling back in time? Is time linear or do the past, present and future all happen simulaneously sharing the same space but on different parallels of existence? Did they change the past or just meddle with it?

You think we're going to evolve? Psshh.. humanity is devolving. Natural selection is being quickly eliminated not only in other species with our farms and cattle ranches, but also in ourselves. Which class do you think is having way more children: the wealthy and successful? Or the lower classes, god bless them. The United States is loving and taming this planet to death, and the cozy fire that is our existence will burn itself out.
