I took one test and it showed the urine go accross the windows then it gave a result afterwards, the second test showed results and the background is as white as it was before i urinated on the test???????Is this normal or is it defected?

With the tests I took, I saw the urine travel across the test window. There should be a line or something else that shows up indicating that the test is complete. It's possible that you did not urinate long enough on the stick.

You should see the urine pass through the window, as its absorbed by the test strip.
There will always be a control line if the test is working and negative, two lines if its positive. Sounds like yours is defective. Try another.

Yes, the urine goes across the window.
If you did the second test right after, and you are eraly on in gestation, you may not have had enough pee on it.
go drink a crap load of water and try again, but I can tell you:
There are NO false positives. Only false negative results. A false negative means that it is a tiny bit too early to tell, or the egg didn't make it.
if it says "positive", you're going to be a momma

you should see the urine go across the window, it shows that the test is working properly. it sounds like you had a defected test.

i can't imagine how your test showed..preg.test has 2 windows,urine will pass thru it until the 2nd window.If it's negative the 1st window shows 1 red line while the other window remains white.When its positive 2 windows has red line..But if the 2 windows shows no red line it means that preg.test stick is defective.

You should see the urine (actually its a chemical that detects the presence of hcg in the urine) travel across the test strip! good luck

you need to see the urine go across the window....because that is where the hormone is detected to make the other line show up.

not all tests show the urine flow, wiht my daughter all three did but this time niether of the ones i took did. if ur in doubt about the results call ur dr
