Yes. I always try to get videotapes for kids -they are SO much more durable! Kids break or scratch up DVD's a lot faster than they can ruin a good old tape. =0)
P.S. Did you notice that the movie rental stores have gone to DVD only - on the new release walls? I just noticed after I asked if they had a movie in and they didn't ask me if I wanted it on DVD or VHS (because there's no VHS!). Don't know when they slipped THAT past me. :)

I do. I have a few movies on VHS that I don't have on DVD and they are just some of my old favorites so I watch them from time to time, it drives me nuts not being able to jump around quickly like with a dvd, but I have a tendency to watch movies over and over and I don't want to go out and buy "Pretty Woman" on DVD. Ya know what I mean?

Yep, still record TV shows on my VCRs. Have a bunch of VHS-C home movies that I plan to digitize and burn onto DVD. When I have the time and money, that is.

I've transferred all of my VHS videos to my TiVo.. The quality is just as good, and I can even fast forward TiVo style (much better). From there I can use TiVoToGo to burn them to DVD if I want.

Yes, we don't have a choice when Blockbuster runs out of the movie we want to see on DVD...which is often!

Yes, we have so many VHSs that we can't afford to get an extra copy of each just to watch it on DVD.
