You need to fix your home life situation. If your married you must correct the issue that makes you feel you have nothing to go home to. If your single you have to get out and enjoy the company of others. No one should HAVE to feel what you are feeling but only YOU have the power to change it.

If you're married and say you have nothing to go home to then you need to get divorced. If you're not married - you need to start building a social life. There is more to life than working and going home. Men and women were not meant to live as hermits. They require companionship(not necessarily marriage) to feel they are living a full life. Call a close friend more often, get out to a few parties once in a while, go out on a mate hunt, and don't let anyone suggest getting a pet. They can be great company, but they don't tend to talk much!

I don't understand the question. First home is something to come home to. Are you just moping around being lonely? Is that what this about?
Because I have interests: play music, read, ride my bike, go skating on my in-line skates, take a woman out for a nice date every now and then, go visit my parents, talk to my friends, work in the yard (garden), answer questions here, go shopping, pay the bills, etc.

Yes its tough when you just have yourself. More so in the beginning than later.
After time, things will begin to fill up the empty periods such as activities and meeting new people.
Local singles groups are a way to get out with the activities they present and make new friends and let the old ones go.
It's also tough to go the first time and the best way is just to decide to go and do it with a friend or without.

I am not sure how bad or how long you have been feeling like this. I need you to answer that and if it has been for a while, then you need support to get through this. If you are suffering from a depression - you need to get a professional help and it would not make you less of a person. You know, a lot of people are scared because they think it would define them as crazy people - not at all. If you could have done by yourself, you would have done that by now. Plus, you have you. It sounds like you need to re-discover what is it that you like, your hobbies, your friends, etc. And take it step-by-step and rebuild your whole life.

nothing to go home to? Sex by yourself, music, video, computer games. Maybe going out to see movies, coffee shops, book store, getting out to church, activites. Just get out make a friend or two, go back to class for something for fun like "how to shoot video underwater" Get a hobby theres plenty of things just dont give up.
