Please can you tell me where to buy decent preggie clothes to wear to work in London - all the maternity clothing I seem to have found are black pants with elasticised waists - i'm tired of wearing two pairs of pants to work each week - and are there special maternity leggings? Would appreciate any help advice.

I know how you feel, when I first went out to buy maternity clothes I found them all really dull and boring!

I looked on the internet and found some bigger companies which sell fashionable maternity wear, such as "Coccoon", "Mummy" and "Quelle" - try searching these, I'm not sure if they are all available in England, as I'm ordering from Spain, but it's worth a go!

Also, I have a few items which I got in England from Mothercare, and some from a french shop called "Kiabi".

Kiabi's clothes are gorgeous, and they do everything from evening wear to tracksuits, all very trendy.

Hope I helped a bit! It's great to wear nice clothes during pregnancy - dress up the bump!

;-)

Can you take a trip to Paris just for a weekend (about 100euros RT on Eurostar)? or a business trip? Go to any mall, and check out C&A... do a search "Magasins vêtements maternité" or "Vêtements future maman" and see what store names come up. There's a good mall in Versailles area (Parly2) that has lots of mommy and baby clothing stores.

Go online to LaRedoute.com, or a websearch (french or english) will offer some online clothes stores. I only know of some stores in France and the US though.

Or, ask around if you have any older friends who have had babies, or others who recently had them, or even some trustworthy coworkers, and may still have some maternity clothes that you could borrow. Since it's not fun to buy something that you'll very quickly grow out of or not wear too often, it's often helpful to borrow. If not, they will know where to go buy some clothes!!

George at Asda does really cheap stuff but quite nice. Mothercare have nice stuff at the moment. If you've got a bit more cash then Formes do really really nice clothes. Most high street shops have a maternity range and you can also get a lot of stuff second hand off Ebay.

Shop on Oldnavy.com they have a maternity section, its inexpensive, ESPECIALLY since the US dollar is weaker than yours, and theyre very fashionable, comfortable and they look great on everyone.

Thats where I got all my maternity clothes.

Have you tried the Top Shop maternity shop in oxford circus. They always seem to have nice stuff on display.
