enabling my java console?

trying to enable my java console..I know you go under internet options/advanced/microsoft vm and click enable..I can do it at work..but my computer at home I do not have microsoft VM on the list ..what do I do to be able to enable my java?...any help would be awesome..thanks

Are you sure you have a JVM installed on your system? You can also enable the console by going to Start->Control Panel->Java. If you don't have it, you can always go to http://java.sun.com and download the latest release.
