i dont know anythign about singapore turtles. I have turtles--& for the other comment, how rude. Once you have a turtle you'll understand. Anyways back to your turtle problem. I'd say best bet call your vet, most of us are not vets here. I would like to say that he is hibernating. But again i dont know. If you have a vet, call him, if you dont call around see who takes turtles. They may help you on the phone, or may want to see your turtle. BUt id say NO dont put back in water. Turtles can drown! check out www.turtlesale.com they have a messageboard there. People w/ TONS of knowledge! They'll help you no problem. Go there right away! good luck

go to site, skip intro, scroll down, on left side, message board--click on it

We need to know the species before we can help- what is the right care for one kind can easily kill another. As has already been mentioned, there is no such thing as a 'Singapour' or 'Singapore' turtle.

You can try the World of Turtles gallery at http://www.austinsturtlepage.com to find the species, and the Care Sheets there to find the right cares.

If this is a water turtle, the tank is probably too cold for it. If it is a land turtle, the cage temps are probably too cold.

Hi. I am from Singapore and I have never heard of a Singapour turtle. We've got the Malayan box turtle and the spiny turtle (both of which are becoming rarer in this urbanised state) though. I suspect the turtle you have is an Asian species which was exported from Southeast Asia and the given a wrong name.

Please check out this website.

Hopefully you'll be able to tell what species of turtle you have and then learn more about his habits and preferences.. Good luck!
