This is either or. If you had to get off the fence and choose either human cloning or abortions, which of the TWO, NOT BOTH, would you abolish. And why would you choose it get rid of it and not the other?

If we have no right to "design" a human, which some see as playing God, then we surely have no right to end on, no matter how inconvienent. If it is God who gives life, then surely man has no claim to stop life, because he did not creat it. And in cloning man just create the conditions for life to happen, if God doesnot grant life it is just a bunch of cells in a petri dish. And with abortions women are playing God as to if a man becomes a father against his will, or is denied his children because motherhood does not suit the mother.

I would abolish abortion. It has already claimed the lives of an entire generation just in America. Murder is murder. Cloning is abhorrent but has not damaged the live of countless millions. I think the number is like 45 million REPORTED abortions. That doesn't include the mothers who commit suicide after they realize what they've done. Nor does it take into account the dads that wanted their children and were denied thier fatherhood. Then there are the extended family members. The list goes on and on. Just like all of our actions, abortion has a ripple effect. In this case it's been more like a tsunami! There is not way to know the full impact or damage done to mankind.

You cant force me to choose-I am saying Neither. Human cloning from stem cells is ok, until i have the chance to do more independent research on cloning from embryos i don't have an opinion about that but right now I would have to say no. Cloning human genes has already proven to resolve many medical issues and help many people.

I am not abolishing abortions because i don't have the right to! Abortion is a personal choice that should be made carefully by the woman (and or her spouse/significant other) depending upon the issues involved. I would never suggest that a rape victim be forced to carry a child to term. In cases where this is done the mothers often suffer from post partum depression, resentment and other psychological issues. In extreme cases they have killed the child. No child deserves to be born into that type of environment. Life is difficult enough to not have the odds stacked against you when you say hello to the world.

Honestly what gives us the right to get rid of either-NOTHING!

I would choose human cloning because we have no right to design man according to our wish. We might have a generation of equal individuals and it reminds me so much of what Hitler was trying to do.... I do not agree with abortion either, except in extreme cases (rape, danger for the health of the mother), but I think that we at least could reduce the abortion rate by good counseling.

Abortion: Because I don't think human cloning will ever reach the full (science fiction level) scale.

Abortion takes life. Cloning could have life saving possibilities.

I'd abolish cloning. I feel there are too many people on this planet already.

I'd outlaw Abortion - I guess it is better to give life than take it. If I had to choose.

cloning, the world is overpopulated so thats the last thing we need. Also cloning is totally unnecessary and potentially dangerous

Abortion can be useful
