I'm a regular watcher, but I'm afraid that American Idol is about to lose this viewer. The show is a great concept and has done a lot to promote audience interaction. Unfortunately, I believe the voting system is skewed. It seems as though the public has forgotten what the judges tried to convey recently... it's a SINGING competition! It's not a popularity contest. Yes, the winner needs to have the "it" factor. It's a package deal. But I'm afraid that genuine voters are now being outnumbered by silly teens voting for hours on end for the cutest person. Case in point... Sanjaya. The boy needs a ride home... bad. How does someone stink it up like he did (many times) and stay on the show? Obviously, a lot of people are voting for him - and not for the right reasons. So, to all the teenie-boppers out there: remember the premise of the show. If you want cute, flip over to the Disney Channel.

Yes. I seriously want Antonella to GO HOME! I don't like the way she argued so much over the group song in Hollywood, which wound up getting Bailey Brown, one of the best at the auditions, sent home. Bailey forgot her lyrics, probably because she didn't sleep after all the *bleep* that Antonella pulled.

I like Sanjaya's songs, so I hope he improves, however, I'm voting for Chris Sligh so far. I really liked him from the beginning. There are a few others I liked, too.

I'm tired of the judges giving mixed instructions. Step it up. Don't oversing it. ??? I don't like yelling, so I like oldies from my parents' day. If only Sanjaya hadn't sounded like he was sick. He really could have done better. I liked the song.

YES!!! Antonella and Sanjaya NEED TO GO HOME!!!!!!!!! How in the hell is Antonella still on?? SHE SUCKS!!!! And don't start with me on Sanjaya...HE SUCKS!!! I got teary eyed because AJ was obviously better than him. AJ was improving and we were starting to like him. American Idol is so obviously rigged!

Yes, I love that show! I think Lakisha, Doolittle are the best of the girls and i think a couple of the guys are great too! I hope Lakisha takes the whole thing that girl can sing and she is humble.....Go Lakisha

Antonella SUCKS, she for sure should have gone home last night.
I'm very surprised Sanjaya is still in the competition.

I'm voting for Lakeisha though, shes the only one who seems grateful for the opportunity they have given her.

i never miss an episode , it is my favorite show!! I disagreed on the ppl they sent home last night , the viewers need to listen better and judge on music, not just a pretty or handsome face..MELINDA AND CHRIS rock!!
