I started wearing pantyhose to work because a couple girlfriends told me it would stop my uniform pants stop itching me.

It is true, I bought some nice pantyhose for Victoria's secret and the feel incredible.

I was wondering what is the best way to wash them. I would like them to last a while.

Buy Woolite and wash them out by hand in the sink. Rinse well and add a tiny bit or liquid fabric softener and rinse again. Squeeze out the water with your hands and then lay them in a towel and roll up .Don't wring them out, just squeeze. Squeeze again to get more water out. Hang up to dry. Don't use a hanger, drape over something like a towel bar or the shower rod. In some weather conditions, hose cause static. If you have a problem with static, buy Static Guard and spray it on the hose either before putting them on or after they are in place. (It is easier to get them on first)

I wear Sheer Energy by Leggs every day to work and love them. After I take them off for the day, I hand wash them with whatever soap is at the sink. Rinse well, squeeze the water out and hang to dry. I've had hose last me for over a month and I'm a merchandiser. I've never used the ones from Vickie's Secret. But I would imagine you wash them the same. Instead of squeezing the excess water out, you could roll them in a hand towel. Just an extra note: You might want to skip the Woolite. The ladies at Victoria's Secret told me that is the worst stuff to wash a bra in(I realize you are washing hose but it could be the same principle). Something it it breaks down the elastic. I only use Woolite for Cottons and Cotton blends and dressy blouses etc.

I used to hand wash with woolite and hang to air dry.

Now I put them in mesh bag and let them go through with all my other clothes. I sometimes air dry them but usually let them go through the drier too. It is much easier and they seem to last just as long. I think the key is the mesh bag.

Forget all the dumb answers here, I toss my pantyhose in the washer and not in a bag, and they always come out perfect
