Is there anywhere online where I can find a report/map of the spring foliage? I particularly would like to know when the leaves fall and come on in Charleston, SC.

You can call your county Extension Center (every county in every state has one [sometimes they will combine 2 counties and give only one Extension Center]). A state university runs the extension centers--for example in Ohio, The Ohio State University runs all the extension centers for all counties in Ohio. Look in the blue pages of your phone book in the county section. You should find the extension center for your county there. Once you have them you can ask them the number and address for the extension center for whatever county Charleston is in and they will have all the info on that particular county of SC. They should be able to answer your questions.

It's more difficult to determine when trees bud because budding is based on temperature, unlike leaf abscission which is based on change in length day (and thus time of year). So you're unlikely to be able to find any sort of accurate map. With the weird weather we've been having this fall, some trees have actually been budding where I live.
