yep it is........they have the search warrant for some reason....they usually come and arrest the owner and the police and detectives search the house........heres a site i found using google about california law and search warrants

As long as they had a valid search warrant signed by a judge, they can go in and conduct the search as they see fit. The home owner or occupant has no right to witness the search.

Yes, they can search whatever the search warrants covers including house, car, garage, personal records, etc. The owner doesn't have to be there.

Yes, they do have the right to search without you being there. Once they have a search warrant they can go into your home, whether you are there or not.
I can see your point, if I was in that situation I would want to be there while they ripped through my home!

Yeah,In analville Hoosick Falls,NY.Dirt-bags searched my home for a envelope with phone numbers on it and a frozen chicken.I was working and girlfriend was told stand aside or go to jail.
