The current presidents dad George H W Bush was president from 1988-1992. H W means Herbert Walker to tell the 2 apart current Bush is known as George W. Bush. the W stands for Walker hope this helps. Bush's Daddy - the one that lost his election to William Clinton because he lied to the American Public when he said "READ MY LIPS! - NO NEW TAXES"!
Then raised taxes because we were in the state of an early recession that the Republicans caused!
