My husband and I have had a lot of problems even to the point to where we took a week away from each other (more his idea than mine). Things are going great so far. We've been back together for 3 weeks now. I lost a lot of confidence in myself and our relationship. I need some suggestions on how to get my confidence in myself and the way he feels for me back???...

Try counselling. It is a difficult patch you're both going through.

I feel you will need counseling and help to get your confidance back and you both may very well need marriage counseling as well. I am glad things are going great but what happens the next time when they are not so great? You need to love and forgive him as a wife should and work on loving him the way you should. This will change alot of things.

Start a new excercise plan, take up a new hobby or interest, watch silly (no romantic comedies) movies: self improvement and fun are the quickest cures. A good sense of humor and a positive, can-do attitude go a long way. Do something to break out of your grind: go to museums, the zoo, do some local sight-seeing. Time to branch out and tap into all the good in the Universe.

You gotta like and respect yourself for others to naturally feel the same way.

You should never allow a man and how he feels towards you to color your whole personality. If your marriage works great if not its not your fault. Maybe he is not ready for marriage. Maybe he rushed too fast. Maybe he has unreal expectations. Maybe he is totally selfish. If its him that is changing you have to not take it personally. If you allow yourself to sink over a man you have set a pattern for life. You will always be at the mercy of men who can make you feel low and selfless. Stand up get off your knees for all the people who wont love you there are just as many that will. Put your heart into the relationship. Take the attitude I am putting my heart and soul into this. If it doesnt work then I can say I put everything in this. If he wants another break in the future, I can safely say he doesnt love you. Then I would say life is not over just cause this relationship didnt work. Move on then.

I know that this may sound blah but I think that if you trust in God and be positive and promote a positive attitude, than your confidence will be back in no time. Any negative talk or thinking only invites it what you don't want into your life. Be a believer and all things will work out for you. Trust me.

I am sorry that you are going though this difficult time. But what is needed here is time, counseling, time, commitment on both sides, time, communication and time. Good luck to you.
